Alltime favorites: Heroes of Might and Magic V for computer; Legend of Dragoon for PS2! oo I played Civilization too, except I HATE civilization revolution Sorry hydro, but idk I think CIV 4 is so much better. Posts: 15 Group: Member Member #11,189 Joined: August 8, 2009	I put my PS2 in a box about a month ago and replaced it with the X-Box 360. It served me well, but it was time for an upgrade. I never played any Civilization games except for revolution so I can't argue there. I like it because it's fast-paced, and it has multiplayer. In the other Civ games you have to spend hours and hours just to finish one game. You could say that Civilization Revolution is dumbed down, but it's still pretty deep and it works very well on consoles. Halo 3.....it's kind of funny, I only bought the game a few weeks ago but I've been playing it for years at friends' houses so I was a good player before I even owned the game. Fallout 3 is more of an RPG than a shooter, though it certainly does have a prominent first person shooter aspect. I bought all the DLC (40 pounds total) about a year ago but I never actually played it so I started playing again a few weeks ago. For a relatively old game it's still pretty good.

I got my Xbox in early March, and the Mass Effect series are the best I've played on that system. The game is a RPG shooter in the same vine as Fallout 3, but has a much deeper story and better shooting mechanics. Anyway, I've been tossing between Split/Second on the PS3 and Blur on the Xbox 360 recently. Yes, I'm a pretty big racing fan. I bought Crackdown 2 yesterday, but I don't think I'll start on that anytime soon. As for CoD, I've already grown tired of MW2 a month after it's release. Battlefield Bad Company 2 offers a much better online experience than what CoD offers, so I suggest getting that.

Posts: 15 Group: Member Member #11,189 Joined: August 8, 2009	HydroDragon95 on both systems. I may get Mass Effect in a few months, but at the moment I'm enjoying Halo 3. Then Halo Reach will be out in a few months, which will keep me occupied for a while. I did enjoy playing Battlefield 1943. I tried the Bad Company demos and didn't really enjoy them. They were filled with campers and people only left the buildings when they were driving heavy vehicles, so I didn't have a lot of fun there.

I am just a quarter of a star shy from the full 5 stars. Anyway, I am looking forward to Halo Reach as well. I was in the beta, and actually quite enjoyed the game. What I don't like about the Halo franchise in general though, is that you cannot aim to shoot from sight. I find firing from the waist is to be extremely annoying and inaccurate. =/ For the record, my GT and PSN ID are both AbyssalCore. Add me if you want to play some games.

For those weapons you have to press the right analog stick to go into zoom mode, which doesn't feel as smooth as pressing the left trigger to aim. Maybe it's just me, since I'm used to shooters that require you to aim down sight to gain accuracy. Firing blindly from the waist in Battlefield or other shooters wouldn't do much damage, and I'm kinda stuck on that mentality. I guess I'm just extra anal when it comes to this, and when I fire guns my left fingers needs to press something. I probably will get used to it eventually if I play more of Reach, but I can't say I like it too much.

I'm sure you'll get used to it though. I didn't have a chance to play the beta but my friends told me all about it and it sounds good. Not too sure about the abilities though, jetpacking and all that. I can just imagine someone getting a sniper, jetpacking to an unreachable spot and just camping the whole match.
