| It's election day in America. One of the most important days of the entire year. History can be decided by the result of this election. Myself
I thought I'd post something general so it can be read at any time. Yes, I'm posting about myself! These are some facts that you do know about me, and some that you don't.
You know me as HydroDragon (at least when I'm looking...), but my real name is Iwan Llywelyn Griffiths. Try saying that three times quickly. With a doughnut in your mouth. I'm an 18 year old British white male. I have avarage-tall height, an avarage build, and longish black hair. I'm also experimenting with small beards, though they don't agree with me so far. My parents are divorced, but luckily don't live too far apart, so I can have roughly equal time with the two of them. I have two younger sisters, and a pet dog called Sam, who can be seen below ready to have his dinner.
I'm currently in my sixth year in High School, which I actually get paid £30 a week for! Good deal, I think. I'm generally good in all subjects, except in Drama, Art and Physical Education, in which I suck.
Mainly in my spare time, I enjoy playing chess online, in tournaments and in a league. I can sing, not exactly Pavarotti-style, but still not bad, and I'm quite a good pianist. I also play Badminton, Table Tennis and Pool, all of which are extremely physical sports. I recently received a PS3 for my birthday, with the game 'Uncharted: Drake's Fortune'. I think it was a good game to start with, since it has great graphics, an interesting plot and impressive gameplay. I also own a Nintendo DS, but that's currently collecting dust. I'm also a keen reader, but that's currently on hold because of this shiny new PS3 I have.
My favourite food is chips (fries to you lot) with tomato ketchup and maybe a sausage (weiner to you lot) or two. My favourite drink is Sprite, but that's probably all going to change in the next few months since the drinking age is 18 here. My favourite colour is red, and I dislike pink.
On television I like a good series, especially is it has a bit of Science Fiction in it. (Heroes, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Stargate SG-1/Atlantis...etc.) I rarely watch any anime/cartoons anymore except for Avatar: The Legend of Aang. I like action and sci-fi films like Indiana Jones, James Bond, etc, and Comedy.
I like things that make sense, Polo Mints and Tea.
I dislike idiots, especially those don't know/care that they're idiots, eating too much and iced tea.

Witty Title
So here I am clinching the title of the first British Blogger.
I've never written a blog before, as I'm not the most exciting of people, and I don't usually do extremely interesting things. Though after saying that, I'm going to try to make my entries as interesting as I can.
Today, I experience the classic British afternoon. Sitting on a chair, I have in front of me a computer. I am multitasking writing this blog, chatting with friends on MSN, playing chess with another friend on RedHotPawn, listening to the Pokemon Theme music, which has somehow become an overnight hit with my entire class, and writing a speech on embryonic stem cell research for my Welsh class.
I am doing this multitasking because tomorrow I want a day free from any work so I can enjoy playing on my shiny new PS3 that I got for my birthday (By the way, I forgive you all for not noticing, it doesn't show up on the main page like it did on the Invisionfree forum.)
I forsee that I'm going to be here for some time.
Tonight I'll be going to see a rally (the car racing kind) with some friends.
So yes, there's my first blog entry. I didn't start on the most exciting day, but I did warn you....
